Why we started
Skillora English was founded in 2026 by M. Rafiz Uddin Sarker, a university English lecturer who specialises in phonetics. After more than ten years of teaching Bangladeshi students, he kept meeting the same problem: learners who know the grammar and the vocabulary, but go silent, translate in their heads or worry about their accent the moment they have to speak.
Skillora brings the classroom methods that get even the most anxious students speaking into small live online classes, so learners anywhere in Bangladesh can practise speaking every class, with feedback, instead of only reading about English.
What we offer
- Live courses in small batches of up to 20, 3 days a week on Zoom: Freeze to Fluent, English Pronunciation Course, IELTS Success Roadmap.
- Skillora IELTS: 100 original IELTS mock tests (50 Academic, 50 General Training) with every Listening and Reading answer explained, AI marking for Writing and Speaking, and a live Speaking mock with a real examiner.
- Free practice: free workshops, the Speaking Practice Club, an English level test and IELTS tools such as the band score calculator.
- 1-on-1 tutoring for learners who want personal coaching.
How we teach
- Every student speaks in every class, and gets feedback on it.
- Explanations in Bangla, practice in English, so beginners are never lost.
